Komal Chandra Bhagat Sudi is on the list of environmental journalists in the field of journalism in Chitwan. Mr. Sudi, a member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Chitwan and Managing Director (M.D) of Avass Television HD, opted for conservation and environmental journalism in various news outlets with the slogan "Journalism For Conservation". Sudi, who has made a name for himself in the field of journalism by making development, conservation, environment and his main concern, has made a name for himself in journalism in Chitwan. Journalist Komal Chandra Bhagat Sudi, who has been supporting the promotion and protection of environment, and tourism through environmental journalism in Chitwan. He officially established the Bharatpur Environmental Social Organization in 1999 and promoted the profession of journalism and environmental sanitation and protection at the same time. Journalist Sudi said that it would be more effective in the community to broadcast sanitation promotional materials through television than through the work of non-governmental organizations. Before the concept of community television in the year 2001, all the local cable operators had operated audio-visual media television through Chitwan Unique Cable Television. Sudi's environmental journalism, which started professionally in 2001, has continued till now. Sudi is a journalist who stood up and raised the voice as a community television, which used to be broadcasted on local cable at that time, should get legitimacy like the radios and newspapers published at the local level. The question of legitimacy raised by Sudi has now been implemented. Sudi, who has been working in local community television, especially in environmental sanitation and conservation, has given equal place to social, cultural, economic and political issues in television. Sudi, who has been broadcasting news and programs on all the subjects scattered in the district. He has been conducting environment and development programs since the establishment of Avass Television HD in 2013. Apart from this, many documentary films have been produced with the help of various organizations or offices. Coordination with National Parks and Wildlife Reserves in different parts of Nepal, Chitwan National Park, Bardiya National Park, Banke National Park, Rara National Park, Parsa National Park, various community forests within the district, Intermediate Zone, Division Forest Office Chitwan, Division Forest Office Rasuwa. Similarly, documentaries have been produced and aired in coordination with governmental and non-governmental organizations working in the field of environment protection. Journalist Sudi has been covering every activity within the national park such as tourism promotion programs, tiger count,rhino census, bird count in the wetland area, crocodile count in Chitwan National Park, conflict between wildlife and human beings, the condition of wild animals, and every activity in the community forest. Apart from the field of environment and protection, Journalist Sudi has also made documentaries on very sensitive and socio-cultural issues. Open Defection Free Zone in collaboration with UN Habitat, Women Empowerment Program in collaboration with CARE Austria and CARE Nepal, Rope Way, Tuin, Paddy Farming, Dairy Mass, Construction of Smokeless Stoves in Poor Community Development and Disaster Management in Remote Areas, Grass Farming, Kurilo Farming, Animal Husbandry, Vegetable Farming in Rehabilitation of Extremely Poor Communities with the Support of Forward Nepal, Rehabilitation of Inferior and Risky Working Children and Street Children with the Support of ILO Have done so, in the hypothesis of Journalist Sudi. In 2005, for the first time in Nepal, the Tharu Talent Award was organized to reflect the culture of the indigenous Tharu community of the Terai Region of Nepal. Journalist Sudi is a part of central member of the Federation of Nepali Photo Journalists and the founding president of the Federation of Nepali Photo Journalists Chitwan. The Federation of Photo Journalists Nepal is a common organization of photo journalists formed for the protection of the rights and interests of photo journalists scattered across the country. The photo of a crocodile feasting on a fish, shot by journalist Sudi, was selected as the best photo at the Beijing International Photo Exhibition. Journalist Sudi Member of the Working Committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Chitwan from 2007 to 2009. From 2018 to 2020, he has been a member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bagmati Province. During the Covid-19 period, which has spread worldwide recently, Sudi himself has been on the frontline and has created informative audio-visual materials, interactive programs and documentary films with the aim of boosting the morale of doctors working in various hospitals and medical colleges in Chitwan and also to encourage the civilians to follow the safety measures provided by The Ministry Of Health & Population, with patience. For his excellent work in environmental sanitation, protection and social work; In 2064, the Universal Peace Federation Korea honored Mr. Sudi with the Youth Peace Ambassador Award 2007. He received the Outstanding Journalism Award from the District Coordinating Committee for Drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for his contribution to the campaign to make the district an ODF district. Similarly, Nature Conservation Award from Forest Technical Society, Chitwan and The Kamala Memorial Journalism Award from Press Chautari Chitwan. He has been honored for his excellent work by various organizations. Sudi, who has been working as a journalist for 20 years and has a long history of covering issues such as forest, environment, environmental protection, waste management and tourism promotion.
